Earth and environmental sciences provide today invaluable input for the economy and for society at large.

The offerings of UP Transfer GmbH’s working groups ranges from classic geology, such as rock analysis to seismological site and deposits analyses, geo-risks analysis through to the application of developed theoretical models and methods in other fields of knowledge, and the potential 3D visualization of such data. The focus of geo-ecological research is on sustainable methods for a wide range of natural residual and waste materials to be used as valuable material components for improving soil fertility and crop yield. This is also in keeping with the concept of a circular economy. At the same time, methods are being developed for geo and eco monitoring, particularly for data collection and monitoring the status of landscapes.
