Applied Physics

The research groups in Applied Physics are concerned with the study of optics and acoustics. The research focus includes the field of optical signal transmission and acoustic modeling of instruments. Other research areas explore the uses for piezoelectricity and physical analysis. A current and particularly exciting project is the development of switchable spectacle lenses.
