The UP Transfer GmbH and DCBA GmbH have agreed to conduct a certificate course (German as a foreign language with economics and management) for Chinese applicants from Shanghai International Studies University and Xianda College of Economics & Humanities. The certificate course is intended to provide Chinese students - as part of their Bachelor's education - with an intensive language course in an intercultural context "German as a foreign language" and to prepare them for an exchange semester at the University of Potsdam.

The first exchange project 03/11/2014 to 31/08/2015 consisted of a semester intensive German language course with a final exam and a semester of specialized teaching in the field of economics and management at the University of Potsdam. The second group completed the program from 1.10.2016 to 30.9.2017. The third year is expected in April 2018. As a subsidiary of the University of Potsdam, UP Transfer GmbH assumes overall scientific responsibility and is responsible for the entire organization and project management. Further exchange projects are planned and should be continued.
